Stopped by as we were exploring St. Paul and boyfriend and I were hungry (like always). We ordered some drinks, which were strong & good! This was my first time going out since turning 21, so I asked for a recommendation from the server & she recommended a paloma, which was strong, but good. I believe my boyfriend got Jack Honey & mt dew...or sprite. Anyways we ordered food and I got chicken tenders and fries & my boyfriend got some sandwich (can't remember what it's called). We got a side a cheese curds to share and mac and cheese to go! Chicken tenders were okay but kind of dry. Burger must've been good because it was mowed down. Cheese curds. O.M.G. some of the best I've had! I'm also not a big mac and cheese gal, but YUM. It was delicious! Would definitely recommend stopping by!

Fantastic service and quick take out ordering. The staff handled the usual crowd plus the not so regular MN Jazz Festival attendees. Thanks for the great reception!

The Bulldog is my go-to spot for an incredible time! I absolutely love hanging out here, whether it's to catch a game or to just soak in the lively atmosphere. Their beer selection is out of this world, and although I'm not a beer enthusiast, their wine is surprisingly good. I just wish they'd offer some higher-quality wine by the bottle. The food is consistently delicious, and their Sriracha tater tots and fried pickles are absolute must-haves! I've tried almost everything on the menu, and I haven't come across a dish I didn't like. Even my cat, Countess Willow, adores the food and their fabulous patio. The staff is top-notch, and the management is truly exceptional. The bartenders are always friendly and professional. This place is always buzzing with activity thanks to its great location, fantastic management, and wonderful staff. Their beautiful patio is perfect for enjoying the weather, but parking can be a bit of a hassle due to the lively area.

Great vibes and great food! Service was great, and never made us feel like we were waiting. I had an old fashioned and it was pretty good. I got the brisket sandwich and I easily could have ordered another round of them, very good! Will definitely come back!

The Bulldog Lowertown is a restaurant and bar serving pub-style food in a laidback atmosphere. SERVICE Staff are knowledgeable about the menu and was helpful with recommendations. I didn't realize my order was going to be placed as to-go since I sat with a group, but it worked out as everyone around me finished their food faster than me. FOOD 5/5 Dozen Dry Rub Wings: Crispy, flavorfully seasoned exterior; juicy tender interior; elevated with a sweet and spicy chili sauce Staff noted this won best wings in the city 5/5 Side Salad: Super fresh veggies with a zesty ginger-lime vinaigrette

Been here a couple times. Went for lunch on a Sunday and no one was there so we got our food fast. Our server was very nice and helpful. The food was good! Food was filling and a fair price for location. I tried my friend's fries and they were good!! They have different flavors for fries so I will have to try that next time! I had the ahi tuna rice bowl. Tons of veggies which I loved. Very tasty. No one I was with complained about their meals. Will be back.

I've been to The Bulldog many times in prior years. Today I went with some friends after a local event. We wanted some appetizers and drinks and knew The Bulldog was the local place to go for those things! Our server was fabulous despite being super busy (she didn't say so, we could just tell by all the tables being full)! Our drinks and waters came quick. And our food as well, our server even helped a couple of us decide on food/drink! Unfortunately my nachos (my all time favorite food in the world) came and were 75% soggy by the time I dug in. It seemed as though they sat in the back wayyy to long before being brought out with the rest. The flavors were good, the soggy, wet chips and toppings unfortunately ruined it for me. The chips were so wet and soggy I couldn't grab them with them flopping over and after a few bites, I couldn't eat anymore. I ended up telling our server about my disappointment and they removed them from my bill. She also apologized and let me know that isn't a typical thing to experience. Other than that, great experience and seems as though they listen to value customer feedback and thoughts. Great server and also love the location to so many local places and events.

Had a decent experience here! We had a larger group and only one server, who handled the group well enough. Service was a little slow, but she was attentive when we had her attention and she didn't mess up any orders. I got the Hawaiian Volcano burger, which was SO good and filled with a bunch of wonderful flavors. The real star of the show, however, was the side of Cajun fries. They were absolutely delicious and I inhaled every last one of them. As for the restaurant itself, it felt a little unfinished and empty. Kind of bare bones.
